Now so many know

Now so many people know about the contents of this blog. Well, we can see how God is at work then. Hopefully, the Lord's promise of 2 Peter 3:9 will hold still "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Anyway I am going away for two weeks. Work and enjoy life at the same time. Wish all you readers a good walk with God in all things

  2. hello Cheat Grace

Very brave of you to bring up this point about plagiarizing.

I used to go to Agape Baptist Church where the Senior Pastor and Assistant Pastor would copy materials from other Christian books and then go to the pulpit to preach. In particular, I caught excerpts from one of Chuck Pierce's book. When I discovered what he was doing I was very concerned. I raised this point up to one of the church staff and the pastor's reply through her was that it is alright for him to do so. Through that response I saw him for his true character.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when this Senior Pastor's daughter was caught kissing another teenager, and he publicly told the congregation that it was none of our business and that we have no permission to ask his daughter about her personal affairs. He covered up the whole matter on her behalf.

When I made up my mind to leave the church, he sent my cell leader to interrogate me. This cell leader, is a member of the board of elders, and today holds a prominent position in the Singapore Police Force (in charge of prisons). I was smart enough to request for a lunch in one of the restaurants in Raffles City. Though I was grilled me like a convict, because it was a public place he could not do anything to me. I also had another lady with me as witness. It was a clear abuse of his power. I saw the true colors of the board members.

I have cut off all ties from that church and the members. But this group is still good friends with the rest of the pastors in Singapore, especially with Lai Kheng Poisson the prayer coordinator of Love Singapore. I NEVER attend any prayer meetings since. It has been 10 years.

Kudos for you for speaking up. To me, the content of your blog is more essential to me than your identity. Few have the guts like you do.
