Another example of Christian pastors who plagiarize each other

Why do Christian pastors need to plagiarise other Christians' work? I believe every pastor will seek the joy of God's company in devotion every morning. So that means he should be having a fresh revelation from God every morning. They why copy others' devotion writing? Is it because for the plagiarist pastor "In those days the word of the LORD was rare; there were not many visions."? It is scary when a man claim to be a man of God but has tro resort to copy another man's revelation from God.

Just see this example. Look at this artcile, 'The Charismatic Gifts' by the megachurch pastor Kong Hee http://www.konghee.com/www/2010/05/the-charismatic-gifts-2/. It is a word for word copy of http://donfran.multiply.com/journal/item/54/The_Charismatic_Gifts...

WHO COPY FROM WHO? Makes no difference. The question is why they cannot credit the source of their article if they copied it. Why cannot they write their own revelation from God.

  1. God's kingdom operates differently from the secular world. If the Holy Spirit inspires me to write something which touches lives, the words don't belong to me. It is His. Anyone can copy or plagiarise it & please don't give credit to me while copying , but to Jesus!!!

    what you wrote here is foolishness, and when you go against God's anointed, you might suffered the same fate as Miriam who challenged Moses.

  2. Numbers 12:1-10 (NIV)
    Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses
    1 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 "Has the LORD spoken only through Moses?" they asked. "Hasn't he also spoken through us?" And the LORD heard this.
    3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)

    4 At once the LORD said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, "Come out to the Tent of Meeting, all three of you." So the three of them came out. 5 Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the Tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When both of them stepped forward, 6 he said, "Listen to my words:
    "When a prophet of the LORD is among you,
    I reveal myself to him in visions,
    I speak to him in dreams.

    7 But this is not true of my servant Moses;
    he is faithful in all my house.

    8 With him I speak face to face,
    clearly and not in riddles;
    he sees the form of the LORD.
    Why then were you not afraid
    to speak against my servant Moses?"

    9 The anger of the LORD burned against them, and he left them.

    10 When the cloud lifted from above the Tent, there stood Miriam—leprous, [a] like snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had leprosy;

  3. First of all I think nobody can really copyright or patent the spiritual things of God.

    For example, the Bible is copyrighted and technically nobody can quote the Bible verses without written permission from the publisher. How can anyone forbid anyone to quote the Word of God?

    We all have the same Holy Spirit and anointing in our spirit so we all can receive the same revelation and insight from God. So there is not a problem preachers preaching other preachers' sermons as long as it's not word for word. A preacher may listen to another preacher's sermon and the Holy Spirit is the one who gives him real understanding and revelation of the truth of the sermon. After that he teach the same truth to others. There is nothing wrong with that. But of course he cannot preach word for word and claim it to be his own. Wherever possible credit should be attributed.

    However for literature, if something is similar word for word then sources and credit must be attributed to the original writer.

    The bottom line is integrity.

  4. tt6389, thanks for your kind words. I guess we have to see then what happens to 'the anointed one'. If he gets charged for wrongdoing, then he has discredited the God whose anointing you claim is on him.

    Pure gold fears no fire!!!

  5. Plagiarism is stealing. You don't steal in the name of God.

    You used the article of other to enhance your preaching so that more people will be attracted to your church and pour more donations for many people pocket and accumulate huge fun to run big businesses.
